Marriage after Green Card

Should someone be married before applying for 485 inorder to avoid the problems of spouse not coming to US till he/she again gets green card.
Are there any other visas that allow a person to get married after getting green card and bring spouse from india in a short period like 3 to 4 months.
Please help.

Outside an H or an L for the spouse, no.
