Hello friends
This is the first time that I want to register for GC. I don't know anything about its process!
I have a question about marital status.
My girl friend and I planed for marriage in 1 or 2 years later. What should we fill in marital status in registration form?

Since you're not married yet, you're Single. What if you two break up, you get selected and they see you put "Married" on your application but have no proof of a marriage or separation/divorce?

Be truthful. If either of you get selected next year, and you still plan on getting married, or have already married, then you contact KCC and tell them you're now married.

So you mean that we fill form as single?

Yes! You will actually have to select "unmarried" because "single" does not show up on the form as one of the options under marital status.

Thanks for pointing that terminology difference out. At least the days of "Bachelor" and "Spinster" are long gone. :-)
