Marital Status and Documents for Interview

Hello Gurus,

When I filed my application, I was married.
Things changed over time and now I am not.

I have an interview coming up first week of Dec.

1. Can I update my status when I go for the interview or do I have to do anything now. :confused:

2. I have been aksed to bring GC and Id when I go for the interview. Is that all I carry with me or need to take any other documents with me ?

Bring your divorce decree. The Natz Cert has a place for marital status so they want that proof. Also, if you are a female who has begun to stpped using the married name the D/D serves as a legal name change document.

1)Update status at interview
2)GC, foreign passport, tax transcript (if applicable), divorce decree are typically the documents you will be asked for depending on your case specifics
