I just got two emails from USCIS-CSSO saying that "A duplicate notice on this case was mailed on May 2, 2005....". Nothing from CRIS...
Sounds wiered!!! Won't they leave us in peace after sending the card :( USCIS sends some email / changes message to some strange one like this and that puts us to worrying what it is all about....

Anyway, need to wait a couple of days to see what it is. I have also seen someone else post the same message (his/her case status too changed to the same today -05/03, quite a few days after receving the card)...

Post me if you have any updates on it.
 
Approval Notices

My I-485 was approved on March 16
Stamping was done on March 29 in Boston
and they took my courtesy copy.

But then on April 28, I got LUD's and a new message
(not email) saying that USCIS has approved my case on April 28
and they have sent me a notice and if 14 days have passed,
blah blah...i.e exactly like the approval notice which I received
after the March 16 approval.

On May 2, I got the Approval Notices from April 28.
USCIS printed the same identical notice twice and sent me
two notices. (your tax dollars at work :rolleyes: )
Both the April 28 notice says, "your case has been approved
and a card will be mailed to you in 120 days."

Then today, 5/3, I got 2 emails from VSC saying my card
has been mailed. I never received emails/LUD for "Card Ordered".

Isn't this weird?? I'm just a regular EB3 dude. Nothing special.

I did get 5 e-mails for each of us. 2 USCIS mails and 3 CRIS e-mails. Duplicate has sent message and Your case has been approved on <> date message. The approved date is old approved date.

Yeah, 2 from USCIS and 3 from CRIS on my wife's 485 case.

Looks like folks who got plastic cards got recently, geting these emails for
duplicate notices. In my case, only my wife got emails, not me..( no card yet :confused: )
 
I see change in status saying that Card was ordered ..blah on 5/6 for me.
But for the spouse case, i see LUD changes same as mine on 5/5 & 5/6 with no change in message.
Is it possible even though there is no change in mesg in my spouse case, can we get 2 cards at the same time?

Got 'Card mailed' email after initiating status-inquiry and filing G-731v (paper-inquiry) too..
 
Cards receive ... what Next ?

Guys:

I got my approval on the 19th and received a cards recently.

I did not have to do any stamping.

What should I do next ? I have no other proof that I have a GC except the plastic cards. No stamping in passport.

Please advice.
 
Card Received Today

Thank God !, finally received GC after roller-coaster ride of 4 yrs and 8 months.

I wish best of luck to all waiting for their GCs.
