GC speculation

It is amazing how we all find something to speculate upon.
2 years back it was about when the economy will be ok.
Now it is the GC processing.
Regarding economy i remember clearly.
Every week end all the software engineers would get together and speculate on when the economy will rise back again.
Not one of them had any investment whatsoever.
For all the speculation they did not have control over 0.00000000000000001% of the economy.

So much for GC speculation.

I think it is very typically Indian to think the hell through everything, however little control we may have on anything. I talk to my chinese and a few east european counterparts affected by retrogression and I don't see desperation levels anywhere close to what I see with our fellow countrymen. Granted, there's anxiety and a wish for this nightmare to get over, but there's also a sense of indifference, knowing well that this game is beyond us.

I find it disheartening to see members feel elated or greatly satisfied by some other fellow member's speculation that their (the former) PDs will become current soon or that dates will magically advance to more desirable levels.

I ask you, is this not wasted energy to worry, fret and lose hair (more figuratively) on something that we have very little control over?

Including India, China and rest of the world will move further.

Nice to see some movement. Really want EB3 to continue movement beyond April'01 soon..just like EB2. Know its wishful thinking..but hey...will try to remain an optimist!

How much time further when Date becomes current ?

Hi,
I have my 485 filed in JUne 2005 and pending in EB2 with PD as Feb2001 which became current in Feb Visa bulletin.
I am with California Service Center and medical/FP was done.I have EAD and AP.
My question is that how much time will it take approximately now before I hear something regarding my I-485.

I will appreciate any info/experience you have to share with CSC I485 processing when date is current.

1.CSC is currently processing cases filed before June 16 2005
2.Your Visa Date is Current
3. You are eligible to chcek with CSC after 60days ie. by April 2006
4. Or you may hear from them before that date.
