Management Consultant 3 years question

i was wondering if anyone has got a 3 year TN for Management consultant. I already had 3 TN (1 year visa) and thinking about going for a 3 year this time.

Actually this is what bothers me
". As a salaried employee of such an U.S. entity, they may only fill supernumerary temporary positions. Id."

This does state that Management consultants are hired guns they come in and they leave.

Can someone shed any light? Anyone got a 3 year MC TN after being on TN for quiet a while? On another post i asked a border agent and he told me its not a problem but just curious
Thanks

I received a 3 year TN in April for MC. We submitted by mail and had RFE about temporary nature of the position, exit plan, proof of ties to Canada. Be prepared for close scrutiny.

Re TN

What proof of ties did you show? i am just curious i don't have anything cause i don't live in Canada but i do have a bank, Credit card and that's about it

Anything anyone can suggest that will tell that i have ties? Maybe get a cell phone?

please let me know
Thanks

I was in no position to argue proof of ties because my spouse had been denied at the POE earlier and we couldn't take any chances. So I submitted by mail and the RFE included proof of ties. Which were: bank account, credit card, son at Cdn university.

Which is, of course, no ties at all.

Most lawyers state that you must show ties to your Country of origin in the sense that a TN visa is supossed to be a temporary visa and not a dual intent visa as the H1B is.

There is a huge contradiction in this given that a TN visa can be renewed forever and a H1B visa can last only for 6 years.

Re Tn

I think these NAFTA Laws are really old and contradictory.
For example you can get a 3 year TN Visa, however CBP at the same time can come back and say that 3 years is not very temporary,
Take my example i am on TN for the past 3 years going for another 3 years they can just refuse me on the basis that the job is not temporary or they can give me a Visa without any issues up to them Totally.

IOther words what can one do. You go to the border and its not even a law that you can show and even if you can whose listening.
I think someone should come back and review NAFTA having said that i doubt that the Bureaucratic will change this.

An H1 is considered temporary, so why worry that TN is not. It is temporary and always will be.
