Hello All,

Finally my wait for GC is over, I got this email today at around 9:00 AM.

I would like to thank everyone on this forum for providing/sharing there experience and opinions. It is a wonderful experience being a member of such a great forum.

Congratulations - I am jealous!

I am so completely envious. I had a dream last night that I could not look at my status online and I was sure it was because I was getting approved shortly. Since I drank a tone of wine yesterday, I thought that perhaps it wasn't a dream.

Well, it was.

Anyway, don't mean to whine, congratulations to you!

Not yet Esspreso,

The latest status on my portfoli is

"This case has been approved. On November 2, 2005, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283."

will let u know once I receive the card

Thanx Cadel,

But my undersatding is that card should be mailed out on/after 31st oct., if u see the first email in my post. On 2nd Nov. I think they have mailed the approval notice.

Just my feeling, no-one knows actual USCIS process though.
 
Got Plastic card

On saturday, I received Plastic Card and Approval notice both. Card is backdated properly 1year.

Essrepsso, That is correct it was delivered on Sat. I m in bay area/california and mail is delivered here on saturdays too.
