LUD on I-485 - 8/5/07 !!! EB3, PD 2002

Hi all,

My and my wife's 485 had LUD today ! almost positive this is a good sign :)

this is good to keep me going for another 15 days ! hopefully i will make someone happy out-there with this post :) Hang in there ya all....

Your approval is on the way. Its nice to see the progress on your case.....
Its because you are from ROW. definitely you will hear it in days if not hours

Hope the flood of EB2 approvals is on the way..

We also had LUD changes on 8/3 (medical RFE recieved) and on 8/5. Per TSC and Congress woman(8/1), my NC is still pending. Not sure what is going on here. I am not +ve, let's see next week.

I got an LUD on my i-140 that has been approved for over 6 months, so I believe it is like a technical glitch.

Thanks for your positive predictions...I really do hope they come to fruition. Its been a long journey and it would nice to enjoy the remainder of the summer with the green cards in hand.
Not to put a damper on the prognosis, but my fingerprints have expired. After having called the TSC three times over the past couple of months requesting for FPs (why is this my job?), and having been promised that its being sent, my congresswomans office was told that my case cannot be adjudicated because...get this...my fingerprints have expired! They were going to try and schedule an appointment within the week...that is the week starting Monday, 8/6, so unless lady luck is shining on me, I suspect the LUDs may be prep work for a FP notice...
 
Reason for LUDs

Hey guys,
Just heard from the congresswoman's office that the reason for my LUDs, according to TSC is that they're issuing an RFE for my wife. Don't know what for, but thats the reason. They haven't issued the second FPs yet.

in my opinion, RFE is better than no change for months/years... as long as we have everything in order, we have nothing to be afraid... its like a traffic police car WITHOUT blinking lights following you... if he has a supspicsion on your speed or anything else, if he finds something bad, he will blink his lights... either RFE or the policeman, we will be nervous which doest mean anything bad...

ALSO, SEND A CERTIFIED MAIL REQUESTING FP APPT, KEEP COPIES OF PROOF OF MAIL

if the LUD turns out to be an RFE, you may have escaped it !!! Be positive man.. your strong mind may telepathically change your situation...

got LUDs on 8/3/07, 8/5/07, 8/6/07

We got LUDs on 8/3/07, 8/5/07, 8/6/07. Hoping that this is good sign but my NC is pending still per Congresswoman email followup with TSC congressional unit. :confused: :confused: :confused:
 
LUD 8/6 also

Yup...LUD on 8/6 as well....

That makes 8/3, 8/5, and 8/6. Primary (self) only.

No LUD on spouse and no update except for the one from my congresswoman's office at 9 AM EST this morning informing me that the TSC is going to send an RFE for my wife's case. I think its most likely a skin test RFE.

Hopefully they're not moving our cases to a "Do not open until Christmas" location. That would SO not be cool.

How long it took your congresswomen side to response your query. DO they call directly to TSC or through emails. Last first she told that email has been sent to TSC, how long it takes them to reply to congressman.

Hi StillAlive,

In writ, about a week...verbally about a day or so if the office can reach someone. Remember that the congressional and senatorial offices have direct numbers to the TSC's office of congressional affairs...numbers that we aren't privy to :) So no POJ that is applicable there. If your elected representative has been in office for a while, or if the office personnel have not changed (retained across whomever has held office), then the odds are that these personnel have built up contacts at the service centers..so its the luck of the draw there.

I think this depends on where you are.

I had talked to the immigration contact at my local congressman's office (MA), and she said that they would hear back pretty quickly from Vermont, but they are having problems hearing back from Texas - that TCS is not as good about getting back to them...

In either case, the congressman's office got the same info they gave me on the phone - no visa, wait till October.

Congressman / Senator

Hi Guys,

This is good discussion.. i was thinking of taking this route, come Aug 15th, if my case is not approved... I am not so good with political knowlegde, but who is preferrable, Congressman or Senator ? Or who is more powerful ??

I am in North Ease, so I may have same situation as DesiG.. can we contact Texas Congressman/senator ???

Any piece of advice, greatly appreciated...
