LUD on I-485 - 8/5/07 !!! EB3, PD 2002

DesiG,

Did you get any help from the congressman on your EAD and AP? I am trying to go through my local congressman to expedite the processing on my EAD.

I have everything I can so far to get the EAD:
1. Tried to call TSC IO and have them send an email to the supervisor( July 17th)
2. Infopass (Aug 1st)
3. Contacted local congressman (Aug 1st).
4. Initiated Service Request (Aug 3rd).
5. Sent Expedite Fax and mail (Aug 6th).

I am hoping that something will work.

I think this depends on where you are.

I had talked to the immigration contact at my local congressman's office (MA), and she said that they would hear back pretty quickly from Vermont, but they are having problems hearing back from Texas - that TCS is not as good about getting back to them...

In either case, the congressman's office got the same info they gave me on the phone - no visa, wait till October.

Another LUD !!!

Hi all,

I had a 2nd LUD on 8/6 !

I know ragz had LUDs on same dates and got approved today.. i am also starting to wonder if contacting congressman / senator is playing a role here.. the previous posters who got approved seemd to have done so...

i suspect in avi_gc case, contacting them (evnethough for EAD) had triggered his approval...
