Trying to figure out what is cooking--- system maintenance or meaningful?

Please share your LUD here.

I had LUD on 6/28, then 6/30, no message change.
FBI letter dated 5/31 said name check "in process". LUD caused by NC clear?
 
Same thing happened to me as well. As 6/30 was Saturday, have no idea what is going on.. I hope it is something positive, but it can just be a system thing..

Details:
VSC --->TSC
EB3, PD -12/02 ROW (have been current since May 1st, 07)
CONCURRENT FILING - 06/04
140 - APPROVED - 06/05
FP2 - 05/01/07
I- 485 - RECENT LUDs - 03/02/07 (XFER TO TSC), 05/07/07, 05/08/07, 05/25/07 (post conversation with the TSC officer), 05/28/07, 05/29/07, 06/12/07, 06/28/07, 06/30/07
 
I got an LUD change on 06/30 as well. We went to Infopass on friday, but my husabnd's case didn't have any LUD change. Don't know what's happening. I have got 6 LUDs since June 19. Apparently IO told me my name check has been pending. Therefore these LUDs don't really give me any hope.

I see LUDs on: 6/30/2007, 07/01/2007.(my & wife cases only) at NBC
Remember my 4(dependents cases) still in TSC: No LUD.
All cases separated.

LUDs in past two days

Anyone knows the difference between "security check" and "name check"?
Last phone call on 6/26 IO said "security check" pending .
The TSC IO refuse to tell me whether it is NC or SC.

I got two LUDs on 6/29 and 6/30, no message change. I think this is not worth being too thrilled about.

all the LUDs are for people with old PD or RD or both

It seems that the folks here reporting LUDs all bear old PD and/or RD... in this sense, it may mean they are pre-approving cases, allocating immigrant visa numbers to us.

System maintenance is a remote possibility.

Guess we will find out in July... let's keep this thread alive by keeping updating our information.

I changed my address, spoke to an IO a couple of times, opened SRs, visited local CIS... My LUD hasn't been updated since 3 days, there had been 3 updates so far... My derivative's LUD keeps changing every day for the past 4-5 days.

This keeps my dead hopes meekly alive again though I've been stuck in namecheck fiasco since 2004 (Oh no! :mad:). I've an infopass appointment tomorrow, hope they say my NC is cleared :confused: .

I also got a LUD on 6/30 along with an email. The message changed from "on march 2 ...VSC to TSC" to "case now pending at TSC..."

If you see a LUD on I485 case and no approval email within 24 to 48 hours then it's most likely not approval related.
 
I had LUDs on 6/27, 6/28 and 6/30. On the other side from 6/28 Infopass I know the case is still stuck in namecheck.

It seems 6/30 LUD is not a massive one still doubtful IOs work on Saturdays. IDBAs do. :)
 
two LUDs

Just went back from Infopass.NC still pending.
Apparently two LUDs over past weekend are not related to approval.
 
LUD on June 30(I saw it to-day) PD 2002 March(pre-app), EB2, India, RD 2005 July
transferred 15th march, 2nd FP May 2007. Did Infopass month ago:-NC pending.

I had LUD on 29th without any message change and 30th is approval message. I'm not certain yet because last time I received wrong approval message and it turns out mail returned notification. I'll wait until I get the mail and post details then.
 
Got one today too (7/2), no message change.
Dont know whether there were other LUD's during last couple of days (30/06, 7/10
 
Another LUD today - 7/03. No message change? What is going on - just shuffling paper to make us hopeful?
