LUD change in approved 140 .. wiered?

I am also in same timeline with you..eb2-india-pd:may2004-140approved a year ago-485 pending last oneyear. Do you know your namecheck got cleared? Can we ask the uscis regarding name check completion when pd is not current?
 
yes, you can call USCIS

Yes, you can call USCIS if your PD is current, if not you need to ask through senator or congressman.

Wrong updates.

Could be some contract developer executed the update statement in Production database instead of development. Mine was changed on 06/03/06 and after that I inquired and found that name check is still pending for more then 2 years.

BTW. My H1 extension for 7th year approved on 6/15/06 so I am taking that as a point that they might have touched I-140 for approval of H1 extension.

So relax, no relation between LUD change on 140 and name check and moreever the name check is issued when you applied 485.

LUD changed on my approved (old) Advance Parole. I even got a new AP and EAD's few weeks back. Do you know why and do you know what it means? I am stuck in name check.
Here are my case details.
EB3
PD - Feb 2000
485 RD - June 2005
FP - Oct 2005
 
May be you are inching towards GC approval....

I know couple of my friends who got similar updates on AP (Old approved updated after 3 years) and 140. They got the GC about 4 weeks after that. It might be a consolidation process and good sign for GC approval.

Got something after LUD on approved 140 at 7/8/2006

My friend:

Category: EB2
Center: NSC
PD: 4/2003
I140 AD: 2/2006
I485 RD: 5/2006

Got LUD on I140 at July 08,2006 and got email about I485 RFE message this morning.

How many FPs you had? We had 2nd FP in June 2006. I believe the name check is done along with FP analysis. Do not know whether this LUD has to do anything with FP and name check. Did you have your FP anytime recently? and if you had it in the past did you observe LUD in any of your files.

Sofar we have completed only one FP (code3), exactly one year before (2nd week of July 2005). All 485s lud changed 2 days after the FP. No FP notices after that. Also we had LUD change in 485s due to address change.

Here is my updates:
PD : EB2 - May 2004 (India)
140/485 RD: June 2005
140 AD: Aug 2005 LUD 07/08/06
1st FP (code 3): 07/09/05
LUD on 485: 07/12/05 (FP) and 06/24/06 (address change)

When did you recive 2nd FP notices? Is it before expiry of 1st FP?
 
In my case, I had FP on Oct 2005. 485 LUD changed 3 days after that. That's it, no movements afterwards. I came to know in 05/02/06 that they r waiting for security clearance in my case. My H1B LUD changed in 05/27/06 and Old AP LUD changed on 07/08/06. I don't know what it means. Hoping for the best.

It looks like the LUD on I-140 has no event for you. I had my second FP on June 6th 2006 which is about 13 months from the first FP. You would also be receiving another FP soon. Does the LUDs on I-485 after your first FP indicate name check clearance? Let's keep in touch as your GC profile matches mine will send you a private message.

I got another LUD today on my I-765 already approved. My friend got another one also today on his pending I-485. It is good to see VSC acting again.
 
My latest approved AP LUD was changed on 07/22/2006. Recently, my old AP LUD was changed on 07/08/2006 and H1B LUD was changed on 05/27/2006.
I heard from USCIS on 05/02/2006 that my security check is pending. My case is EB3, PD - Feb 2000. No dates changed on I-485...
Any ideas on whats going on?

There was a change in LUD (07/22/2006) on my approved H1B. Last time LUD (07/08/2006) changed on my approved I140. Not sure what is happening.
