Boston INS serice center is closed on Wednesdays. We just got our EAD and Aps from that office two days ago. They also do INS photos there $ 10 for two photos. 485 receipt is generally received by the lawyer.
 
Any one from April Got EAD and AP

Any one applied in April got EAD or AP from INS. Just curious how long does it take to get EAD and AP at VSC.

Got my 485 receipt today

Receipt yesterday.

There are imp changes to the Boston walk-in EAD and AP processing.

please write, when was your check cleared. Also, did you get receipt or lawyer?

Lawyer recd the Receipt yesterday.
I had planned to get the EAD at Boston INS office. But the lawyer told me about some new rule due to which the walk-ins are delayed.
I will still take a chance tomm.

For EAD application, just checked AVM. The message says: "May 16th, after approving your application we ordered a new card. process takes between 60 - 90 days. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready" Is it normal?

EAD filed with 485. Approved on 5/15. Card arrived today (5/20)

I did all the paper work myself. I recommend anybody else applying for any immigration benefit, consider doing the same. I read message after message about incompetent lawyers. If you have the time (and it IS time consuming), consider doing it yourself. You have a lot more control over the process.

Got EAD Approved

Hi Guys,

I got mine and my wife\'s EAD approved on May 20th. Message says that card has been ordered and will mailed as soon as it is available. I am updating my information.

My I485 information at VSC is as follows.
RD:04/03
ND:04/19
FP Notice:05/04 , Schedule date is 06/07
EAD: Approved 05/20 (Mine and my wife\'s)
AP : No updates yet.... :) (Expecting it soon)
