Lost visa status

Hello,
I came to US in 2002 January in F1 visa to do a Masters. Due to some problems with my professor, I wasn't able to graduate. My I20 expired on March 31st 2004(he did not let me apply for OPT either). Now I'm in the 60 days grace period.
Is there anyway I could contact some consultant and apply for H1B now? even if I do and get my H1B sanctioned, its gonna start only by October 2004. Until then can I stay here legally without any visa or should I leave the country?
Can I apply for another school and try to get a F1 visa agian? is it possible at this point?
Its already been 8 days since my I20 expired. So, if anyone could make a reply ASAP it would be of great help.
Thanks
Hari.

Lost F1 Status

Only possible solution is to get another I 20 from any School.

Lot of California State Universities (CSU) are still open for Fall session (you must apply before 1 June 2004). Hurry up

what if it passed the 60 days grace period and can i still get another i-20 from another school (i have a valid student visa - not expires until end of 2005) any thoughts? your help is most appreciated.

Possibilities

Hi

I am not sure if you finally managed to graduate or not. If not then also, the school usually had rights to provide one year of grace period towards the completion of program. Also if a student wants to return to school and has been out of status for less than 5 months, then he/she can apply for reinstatement. Please visit this link for further information

Also I would suggest you to talk to your international office about the grace period and about the reinstatement.
