Lost job/ How to get new TN cross border

Hi All,
I have lost the job and in the process of getting new TN letter with new company. I live close to mexico border. As the borders are closed now with canada and mexico, how can i get new TN as it requires quarantine if i enter mexico/canada. I may have incorrect information. Please advise how it can be done.

Forgot to mention that I am a canadian citizen. Also, on the TN letter, would it still say TN category under NAFTA or it should be replaced by USMCA?
 
The borders are not closed for essential travel, including work. So choose your POE and head there. You may have to quarantine/self-isolate when you return to your home state.
Just have letter ask for TN status. They don't care/know what law, regulation, or treaty it's under. They know what a TN is.
 
Thanks Nelsona for clarifying. Just one follow up question. Being a Canadian, do i have to be mindful of anything going to Mexico border for TN issuance rate as i live in San Diego or i should chose canadian border. Or it doesn't matter.
