I lost my I-94 card that is stapled to the passport. I am currently working on an OPT (F1). I had applied for a new I-94 2 months back and have recieved a confirmation from USCIS that my application for a new I-94 has been recieved. Now, I want to file for H1 in the coming 2 weeks. Can I file using the reciept from USCIS as a replacement for the I-94? The USCIS website says that a new I-94 may take 275-300 which I can't wait for. Has anyone of you or a person you know gone throught this situation? Please help.

------------ you need to ask the lawyer who is going to file H1.
*if you have COPY of lost I-94 it may work
