Hi,
My wife lost her EAD which will expire by this June. Unfortunately we don't even have a photocopy for the lost card. So we are not sure if we can do a renew since renew will require a copy of the current card which we don't have. So here are my questions and I appreciate if anyone can provide answers.
1. Can she applys a renew for her EAD without a photocopy of the current one?
2. Can she just apply a 'brand new' one which won't require the photocopy of the current one since it's not a renew?
Someone told me that we have to apply a 'replacement' first then renew it. Apparently I prefer not to take this 'two step' way unless we have to. BTW, if we apply a replacement, what the expiration date will be on it? The lost one expires by this June.
Any information will be appreciated.
Thanks a lot...
