Long trips Outside of America

I have been a LPR for over 20 years. The majority of the first 15 years was spent in my home country, but the past 5 years I have been a full time resident of the US (having been outside of the country no more than 190 days).

I want to apply for citizenship, but I am worried that I will be denied it based on the fact that I was residing outside of the US for the first 15 years. When you are asked to the interview, do the USIC already know the dates that you have spent entering and exiting the US, or do they rely on your honesty in recording the dates correctly on the form? I know you can obtain a list of dates from the CBP but does the USIC already have this infromation to hand?

Any help on this would be appreciated.

You were outside the US for 15 years as an LPR??? This was one continuous trip??? Unfortunately, unless you were allowed back in for a good reason, or unless you lie on your application, there is a MASSIVE chance your status will be revoked. The officer might, for some miraculous reason, not pay attention to this absence, but I don't see how.

For most part, they would look at your visits outside US in last 5 years. You should be fine as long as you maintained your LPR per rules during previous 15 years.
