Living in Winsor, Working in Detroit

I have decided to move to Canada to maintain my PR status. My 3 yr period that allows me to stay outside Canada is coming to an end in 5 months.

Is it possible to live in Winsor and work in Detroit on H1B by commuting daily? I have heard that many people are doing it.

Any problems I might encounter if I do that?
