link i-140 with pending 485

I submitted i140 OR in July 2005 and got approved in Feb 2006, and my 485 is pending since Sept 2005.

Recently my labor certificate got approved. It has a much earlier priority date (2003). Should I apply a I140 based on the LC and link it to the pending 485?

Is there any benefit to do so? Is there side-effect?

------------ first file the I-140 after approval of that I-140 you can request USCIS to approve the pending I-485 based on new I-140( dont forget to write your A# on new I-140 form)

-- you need to check PD dates how they are moving if PD for I-140 in Eb1 and EB3 for your country of birth

My OR PD is current. Under this condition, is there any benefit to file a new i140 with an earlier PD?
