Hello,

I don't have any white walls in my house only light pink. Will the photo be acceptable or not?

As it only says light background color it didn't specify that the background should be white but i don't wanna make a mistake and not get a green card because of the background color.

Sorry but what do u mean by cvs? For me I've always known cvs as concurrent versions system.

I had the same problem. No white walls or doors in my house. I solved it by taking the picture against a random background, using PhotoShop, then selecting only the actual background with the Quick Selection tool and increasing exposure and brightness. The result; a perfectly off-white background, better than any picture from a professional photo place! Remember to do all this before you resize the image. This is how mine turned out, to give you an example. The original background went from darkish grey/brown to this.

By the way, I have the same shot where I left the image as a whole slightly bigger so that the length of my head matches the 50-69% requirement (practically impossible, but I got it ;)).

I aint sure but donttehy a un touched, unmounted and something else like glossy or something?

I thought un touched meant, not altered in any way like modified in adobe? or what ever photo suit

They mean Photoshopped doodles, glasses, moustaches, beards, eye color etc. Anything that will alter your real face or facial features.

Remember, it's KCC/the Embassy, not the FBI or CIA. They neither have the money, manpower or time to investigate pictures that are perfect to the physical eye. Besides, why would they? It's a waste of time.

There also was a part of a door handle visible in the top right corner of the original shot. Also Photoshopped that out. Can you see it? I can't, so I'm pretty sure KCC cannot either. :D
