Hi,

I thought it may be helpful for those who filed through Atlanta DO to stay in touch. I think this info sharing would be helpful to everyone involved.

What do you think?
 
There are not many people from ATL I think...this is the second attempt of this type of thread and the last one didn't work. :(
I am in the metro area and I am worry for the AOS processing times that appear. From 2 weeks ago it moved another month from October to November BUT 2003! The I-765 is already on July 15,2005 but I don't know what means if I will receive sooner or later my EAD if it really depends of another contractor that is in KY.

My timeline is this:
06/21/05 RD, marriage based USC
08/09/05 FP & Bio done in AL
08/10/05 change status online, will be mail as soon as it is ready.

For what its worth, Im filing in Atlanta. My info is in my signature. e17345, could you post your timeline in your signature?

4/20/2005: Mailed I-485, I-765 & I-131 to Chicago
4/23/2005: Receipt Date
5/25/2005: Notice Date
7/07/2005: Received AP
7/27/2005: FP & Biometric Completed
8/09/2005: EAD Approved
8/15/2005: EAD Received

What now???
 
So if we follow Lucy MO timeline, about 14 months? pretty different of what it says the ATL DO timeline. I was checking all the DO's timelines...and is amazing how many DO's are in 2005. Not our case though.

I have a change in my timeline:

06/21/05 RD, marriage based USC
08/09/05 FP & Bio done in AL
08/10/05 change status online for I-765.
08/16/05 change status online for I-485. Received FP.
08/23/05 change status online for I-765. EAD approved.

As far as LucyMO and her timeline, the question is whether she has a family based adjustment application. If she has an employment based adjustment application, she is dealing with the Texas Service Center, which on August 18, 2005 reported it was processing cases with a receipt date of July 1, 2004. Therefore, with a filing date of July 2004, it is reasonable that she has an interview date established for September 2005.

If however she does have a family based adjustment application, then the report by CIS for Atlanta is useless, as you point out. So, LUcyMO, we await your response :)
 
Did you know that ATL has to do the cases of GA, AL, NC and SC? I haven't seen others DO that has so much! of course we are so slow....grrrr :(

Yes, I have received my EAD. Just updated my signature to reflect that. It arrived in the mail shortly after 6/24. Have a nice day and all the best :)
 
Just to update that I received my EAD on the mail today! 2 days after the changed of status online.

06/21/05 RD, marriage based USC
08/09/05 FP & Bio done in AL (with original appt for 08/10/05)
08/10/05 change status online for I-765.
08/16/05 change status online for I-485. Received FP.
08/23/05 change status online for I-765. EAD approved.
08/25/05 EAD on mail with stamp of 08/23/05 KY.
