My Packet 3 is in the consulate and I am expecting a Jan 2002 interview. Only wondering when I will get to know my exact date so I can go about making reservations.
 
Any Doctors in Delhi where you can get all medicals done at same place?

If not, which Doctor has all the other X-rays etc close by. Lets also hear which doctor caused least hassles and completed and returned medicals in the least time?
 
Hi. I am also expecting a Jan 2002 interview. My Packet 3 reached Delhi on 11/5.

I think we will come to know of exact date only on or about Dec 15th when they assign it to us.

Strangely enough my friend\'s packet 3 was put in system on 22nd of Oct and he has been offered a Dec interview.

when is your friends interview in dec? I heard they were not yet telling the dec date. Did he call up? When?
 
status:: phone call to embassy::

I have just called delhi embassy and after an hour or so it got thru, a lady picked the phone. She asked my case number but my case was not entered in data base though they have received packet 3 on Oct 27. The reason she said, because of Anthrax fear they are not opening new mails. But when I asked than how will you enter my case than...as a reply she said, "I am entering right now sir" and only thing she has asked, was my new address. Now my worry is, is she really entered my case or not ? Because I am not sure how can she enter my case without
OF-230/OF169 forms information. Do any of you have any idea, what kinda information needed to enter the case. Or same thing happaned to anyone than please update..........

When did you call to embassy and what they have told to you. Have they already entered ur case before ur enquiry call or they have done
when you called them.....so please update ???

Raj10. My friend actaully had a AC140 done. His packet was received mid Oct.

He called up the embassy early this month. He had not got a date assigned in his system yet. But Mr. Swami there told him that he will get a Dec date. MY friend cannot get vacation in Dec so he requested a Jan date. (If the system has not yet assigned a date you can postpone by a month also) Mr. Swami made a change to the system, it seems that they deselect having received the packet 3 , so this way the system does not asssign him a date in Dec. And he asked him to call up around Dec 15th to get a Jan date assigned.
