Lay off and EAD renewal pending -AC21 question

Gurus,
I am in a very difficult situation right now, my company started laying off .My first EAD expires in september which was never used, 2nd one applied in mid of july which is pending , my question is how much time will i get to find a new job under AC21.

If your I140 is approved, and obviously I485 has been pending for more than 180 days, you can find a new job immediately and invoke AC21. Some people say that invoking AC21 is optional, but I invoked it.

---------------- you need job offer at the time of I-485 approval, you can be without job if I-485 is pending. try to find job ASAP so that if any RFE you can send new employer job offer letter to invoke AC21

I dont know you full details:
I-140 is approved or not?
I-485 filing date???

if I-140 is approved and I-485 pending more than 180 days then you are eligible for AC21 and safe, employer can revoke I-140 but you will be safe if found new job and invoke AC21
