Late Medical appointment

Hello family,

I trust we are all fine, please.

My DV interview interview is on May 18th at Freetown (Sierra Leone), and my medical appointment is on May 3rd.

However, due to some circumstances beyond my control, I can not make it to the medical appointment on the said date because I m not resident in Sierra Leone at the moment.

From the look of things, I would be able to have my medicals a week before my interview or days to my interview.

My question is, can I be denied for not doing my medicals on time, what must I do, and what are my options?

I am standing by for your advice.

Thank you,

Best Regards.

It is important to attend your medical appointment as soon as possible to ensure that your medical results are ready for your visa interview on May 18th. However, if you are unable to attend your medical appointment on May 3rd, you should contact the medical facility and explain your situation. They may be able to reschedule your appointment to a later date that is more convenient for you.

In some cases, the medical exam results may not be available in time for your interview if the exam is conducted too close to the interview date. In such cases, the embassy may ask you to reschedule your interview for a later date. It is important to communicate with the embassy about any changes in your situation, so they can advise you on the best course of action.

It is always best to complete all required steps for your visa application as soon as possible to avoid any delays or complications. If you have any further questions or concerns, you should contact the embassy or consulate where your interview will take place.

Short answer to your question: No, you will not be denied for not attending the medical appointment as previously scheduled on May 3rd. No problem with changing the medical appointment date (and there’s no reason to contact the embassy for that by the way) as long as the medical exam gets completed prior to your interview date.
