Once again my LUD changed, this time both on I140&I485, all the other applications(incl spouse) remained the same.

I140&I485 LUD - 08/03/2004

I140 RD : 06/14/2004
ND : 06/14/2004
RFE SENT : 07/06/2004
1.LUD : 07/19/2004 - Case status changed with RFE info
REPLY SENT: 07/27/2004
REPLY RECV: 07/30/2004 - Case status updated with RFE reply receipt info
2.LUD : 08/02/2004 - No status change
3.LUD : 08/03/2004 - No status change

I485 -
1.LUD : 07/19/2004 - No status change
2.LUD : 08/03/2004 - No status change

I know at this point it is too early for me to speculate anything, esp keeping in mind my ND is 06/14/2004.

Will keep you all posted if I hear anything.

Naanshi,

They asked me to show proof of experience for atleast 2 yrs as stipulated in the labor application in the concerned field.

I got the letter from my previous employer.

No, the only email I got was when they received the response for the RFE on I140(status change).

Your RFE was simple one and this status changes indicate that they have started working on your case. You should receive your I-140 approval any time now.
Have you completed the finger printing???

No I haven't received FP notices, mine has been a lil weird from the begining

My guessing is that tomorrow(08/04/04) also your LUD is going to change. Let us see. Check at around 4:30 PM.

as you guessed the LUD changed to 08/04/2004 on both 140&485 and its only 7:45am EST. What do you think is going on ! ! ! !

LUD on 11/10/2003

Mine I-140 was filed on 10/21/03 and then after receiving the receipt, my lawyer filed for I-485 on 11/06/03, ND: 11/07/03.

The LUD on my I-140 was on 11/10/03, i.e., right after the ND for I-485.
Since then, no change in LUD for I-140.

Does this LUD on I-140 after receipt of I-485 mean anything? My guess is that the I-140 is/may be on hold due to some "remark" being put on it after
I-485 was received.

Any clues?

not aware how to retrieve the LUD

All,
I would like to participate in this LUD tracker thread.
But because of my ignorance, I am not sure how to retrieve the information.

If I am not the type who keeps checking the case status daily, can I still know the LUD on my pending cases of I140 and I485?

When you signon to USCIS site and pull up your portfolio, it lists all the cases that you are tracking, on that page one of the column is Last Updated Date(LUD). You won't get any notification if only the date changes you have to signon and check it.

I140 (EB-2)
RD: 09/11/2003
LUD: 01/14/2004 -- could be because of I485 being submitted

I485
RD: 01/09/2004
LUD: 06/22/2004 -- this was the date of FP done

Looks like to me is that the officer has started working on your case and your FP notice is on the way. But I still don't follow why they need to work for four days continously on a I-140 case????(Your LUD changed on July 30, Aug 02, 03 and 04).

Is it a bug in the program, that automatically updates the date, even though no work is done on the case??? Let us closely watch LUD for some more time. We will get some idea.

Yeah, it is a bit weird, it has been changing every single day ever since they received the RFE response, lets see if something is really happening. Thank you for the response.

LUD: 06/01/2004 -- this because of FP received/resumed
Fp : 05/21/2004
AP sent : 07/29/2004 -- Still waiting for receiving the Notice

Aws,
Once they receive the I-485 package, I guess they will put all together with your I-140 file, update the date and that is the reason why you noticed the LUD change in your I-140, just after they received the I-485 package.

As usual, calculated guessing only. No proof or theory to support this.
