Yes your attorney should receive the transfer notice.
I am not sure if he/she will give you a copy of that. It depends on the company\'s policy. I saw couple of messages on this board before where they said their employers did not give them a copy of the receipt at DOL.
I understand now the they give only a transmittal notice with receipt date ...
HI Guys,
I beleive They give only a transmittal notice with receipt date and tell the case number remains the same. One freind told the same and we tried calling with the old number for updates but the AVM says the number could not be located. We are not sure how it works.
thanks
Pal.
The DOL assigns the case number when it is entered
in their system. When SESA transfers the case to DOL,
at that time, they just say that the case has been
trqansferred to DOL. From DOL, another notice is sent
when they enter the case in their system and they send
this case # to attorney (and/or may be employer).
Normally, the attorneys do not reveal that case # to
applicants, so do mine.

Hi,
I tried the auto-reply service of doleta giving my employer\'s phone number. Surprisingly, there is no case that matches my salary. But if I actually give my case number 95130XX, I get a response saying Received on 11/21. Any ideas why this might be ? the case before me is certified, and after me has date of 11/23.
No. Havent heard anything as yet. The ad that was placed by my co. was generic...so they are not expecting a lot of response from people with my kind of experience...but remains to be seen. I will know after end of June..if the ad recd any relevant response and will know later on what action DOL takes.
Dont lose hope...we dont know as yet what may happen with our cases. Atleast DOL has been consistent in sending these notices irrespective of employers. We should closely watch the first few cases.
Others, if you are in the same boat - please keep in touch...and let us know what your lawyer says or if you get any info on this situation which is worth sharing.
ceebee, keep faith...everything will turn out fine
