L2 EAD Renewal

I am currently on L2 visa,working on the EAD currently and my EAD card expires on Mar 06th 10. But my wife L1 is valid till April 6th 10. I-94 expire by April 6th 10.


Can i continue to work after applying for EAD renwal before i receive the Card??

Will i get the renewed EAD card for one month or two years??
I am only aware that EAD is based on L1 validity

I had to apply for a new passport few months back as my old passport expired and had my name corrected on my new passport??
My name in the old passport matches the Visa copy and the EAD.

Should i apply for EAD renewal with my name in the new passport??

Please share your views to apply for renewal and name change on the EAD
