L1 to H1B Visa Stampig

I was working in L1 visa for past 3 years. Currenly I got my H1B visa approved through expediate process. After my H1B approval , I joined the new company which sponsered my H1B. I have 3 questions with respect to my visa stamping.

1. Am I legally working in the new company without getting their H1B stamped?

2. If the answer is yes to the above, can i get my visa stamping in US itself.

3. If the answer is NO for Q.2, can i go to Canada/Mexico and get it stamped. I heard that F1 to H1B visa stamping is done in Canada. I would like to know whether L1 to H1B stamping is also done in Canada/Mexico.

----- You are legally working if you have valid I-94 with H1 approval notice, H1B visa stamp is only for travel if you don’t have H1B visa stamp no problem, when you visit India you can get H1 stamp as you can not get H1B visa stamp from DOS in US as you changed from L1 to H1
2. If the answer is yes to the above, can i get my visa stamping in US itself.
------ NO you cannot get H1b stamp in US
3. If the answer is NO for Q.2, can i go to Canada/Mexico and get it stamped. I heard that F1 to H1B visa stamping is done in Canada. I would like to know whether L1 to H1B stamping is also done in Canada/Mexico.

----- you can try but if H1b stamp rejected you can not enter US from Canada or Mexico you have to go straight to India then get H1B visa stamp and come back to US
