KCC approval timelines

I was wondering if anyone has contacted KCC and had their application already approved. KCC received my forms back on May 9th and when I first called was told that they were processing my application and that it was going to take 4 weeks. Yesterday (June 11th) I was told to call back in 4-6 weeks. Please post the date in which you sent the form or better the date in which KCC received them and date approved if available. Hopefully this thread can be a useful to all people out there waiting for KCC approval.

KCC does check that the forms you sent back are OK. When your forms have not been "approved" yet they tell you that they are "processing" your application. When I do use the term "approve" i do not mean "grant you a GC" but merely checking that everything is OK with your application. If you have a better term to define what I call "approval" please let me know about it.
 
they simply process them and check the eligibility. Then KCC simply transfers the applications to the appropriate consulates. It's hard to tell when that happens - could be a month or two before the interview....
