Please pardon me if this has already been covered in this forum...

CSC folks have a project (code/query) that is able to track all approvals not just ones registered on rupnet....is anyone aware of this kashmir project and whether it can be modifed for NSC.....should be a small change for someone who is a programmer.......i have asked this queston on the CSC forum but not sure if anyone of us know.....vsc folks are already using it.....i do not think they will mind sharing it with us.....we are in the same depressing boat...

We had already had some discussion at CSC I485 forum.

Here are links to the oritinal Project Kashmir threads:
Project Kashmir - WAC02 I485
http://www.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=78398
Project Kashmir - others
http://www.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=85227

I have been already working with VSC I485 applicants as follows:
1) http://www.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=87455
2) http://www.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=86450
VSC I485 applicants are scanning EAC02 cases and posting the result in Excel format at 1),
and I post the summary sometimes at 2).

You have already had some threads such as:
Portk Chop's http://boards.immigration.com/showthread.php?threadid=83256 and
immigrationUSA's http://www.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=73924
If you NSC applicants send me LIN case numbers by e-mail or posting so that I can scan LIN I485 cases,
I can update LIN I485 status summary like VSC 2).

LIN0210 seems tobe I485 cases with RD of Feb2003

I got these results from Kashmir's program...sorry they are in text format not xls. I will be sending them to Kashmir as well.

Quite a few I485s seems to be approved from this batch. Looking at the ones that have not been approved, it looks like the ND for this batch I485 is around Feb 8, 2002.

I am attaching the data.....but please do not trust my analysis.

on whether approvals are for non SR countries and non EB1

I don't think there is a way to tell if it is EB1 or not from looking at the case status. Is there ?

For that we will have to depend on the information that gets updated in Rupnet.

I run it from home almost every day. What LIN number do you want to capture. We can enter a particular LIN number and it runs and cpatures info for that number to a hundred numbers after that. You can give me the number leaving off the last two digits....like LIN02167704** I can attach the report. Please be aware that it is in txt format....not sporeadsheet. So you will just have to open and browse through it.

Hi lifeonhold,

I tried on my PC but i 'm getting an error saying java.util.exception not found error .
Any idea how to fix this.

Thanks for asking the LIN , i do run the greenland script once a week but it is limited 1000/day. so just curious to work on kashmir project..

I will run the script tonight for the series requested. One of these I will open up the program and see if I can get it to write to an excel file. Have not done it yet.

Will run it and post txt files for each batch of 100. You can check back around 7.30 pm central time.

I have not yet tried the greenland script. Can some post the thread for the program and directions on how to run. Thanks to everyone who wrote programs like these. This whole process is so frustrating.....knowing that we are all in it together makes it a little better for me.
