k1 visa issue

hi every body

my brother has a k1 visa which expire on april 30 2020 and was planing to tralvel to usa on march 23rd . but due to covid-19 issue he couldnt make it to travel. now if the airport stay closed at that time . obviously his visa will expired . what hd have to do then? they will be any exemption?

Contact the consulate via email. They should be able to reissue the visa at the appropriate time.
