She's quite nice throughout, but not very helpful (just like what previous posts described). She said they are putting new officers to handle I-485 cases, and the delay was due to transition to BCIS. And the speed will pick up blah blah blah.
My case was filed in 9/2002, and she said my case should be touched in 8 or 9 months (she must be kidding?

One finding is that her accent is very similar to a nurse I met. The nurse was from Thailand.
I mailed them (to CSC I-485 mailbox) the address change letter 2 months ago and the address has been changed. So this way of notifying CSC about address changes does work...
