Actually I started out as labor_takes_4ever, and labor took me 18 months. Then moved to the 140 stage where I changed nicks to my current one, got approved inside off 22 days! Thought the name was lucky for me :p kept it for this stage and have been waiting for the past 5 months! :(

I would change it to 485_takes_4ever but too many people know me by this nick now and it is too difficult update everyone! I am hoping that this AOS process picks up speed and I actually get approved. That way I can forget about these nicks! :)

Oh when will the day come? What are the current predictions as to when the drops will turn into a downpour?

Interesting story. Who can predict INS's future ways of working. I hope too, that the trickle turns to a downpour. It's only a question of when. I noticed your RD is Oct 02 which about 1 yr after mine. My labour and 140 together took about 6.5 months in 2000 and I had my 140 approved by Oct 2000! My date became current in Jan 2001 (then there was a country quota) but I didn't file for my 485 then...After Sept 11th, I just went and filed. My 485 my lawyer said it would take about 5 months because that was the processing time then but it's been 15 months now...

Hope things improve by March. Lets see.
