for some people , 2nd NC initiated
for me also they initiated 2nd NC in Aug 2006
1st NC was cleared the same day as per FBI reply to me, but 1st GC was denied becoz of employer fruad in 2005
applied 2nd GC in Aug 2006 with PD of 2001
 
According to the TSC IO both the NC's for me were requested on 01/05/05. She didn't know why the two were requested, but she said both of them are pending..
 
OK, here is an update..
LUDs on my casses (I dont know if there were any LUDs, before I checked)-

7/14/07 - 1st H1B with the GC sponsoring employer

7/22/07 - 2nd H1B, I140, I131/AP (old/1st).

7/23/07 - per IO, 2nd BIO notice sent out (scheduled on 8/07/07), received today 7/30/07 (postmarked 07/27)

7/24/07 - per IO, RFE sent out.

7/25, 7/26/07 - LUDs on I485, no change in message

waiting on RFE..
 
Got the FP notice for 485 .So LUD's may be due to FP.
This is the 3rd one after 485 filed in 4th aug 2004.
God knows how many time they need FP because ASC office is 180 miles form house.
Still waiting for 4th EAD which was filed May23 2007 and FP done on Jun15 2007.

180 Miles? I was complaining about 25 miles. Fortunately my case has been approved on 07/24/2007. Mine is 07/2003 PD, 12/2003 RD EB3 NSC case. Still I wanted to share my info as my LUD prior to approval was also 10/28/2006. Best of Luck!
 
I would suggest calling TSC IO on any LUDs without message changes. Maybe they sent out some notice..

I too had LUD yesterday and today 7/30, 7/31 but my case is in NSC.
Yesterday I called NSC IO to know abt this change but that lady refused to give any info ...dont know why.
Acc . to infopass apt. all cleared "waiting for an officer"

Did you contact Comgressman ? I did 2 weeks back...think thats the reason for my LUD.

Contacting congrassman... I don't think so, even congrassman's office takes lot of time to check with USCIS, I don't think they call USCIS for us so quickly....but again it's my thought...
Yes my LUDs are also on I-485

there is no any msg change in my 485 same recieved and pending mesg.

I got my LUD's in my 485 on 7/6 and 7/7. Looks like nowadays it is common to get card production ordered for EAD too. So not that much excited.... If it can be my GC, nothing like that :)

In my case both my wife and I had LUD on our cases....

also add your detail man in your signatures.....PD/RD/FP etc...
