Just got green card what next?

I wonder if anyone can speak from experience here. My marriage based permanant residence application was approved through the US cosulate here in Canada and my passport was mailed with an apporval stamp in it that is valid for 6 months.

I am leaving to move to the US with my husband in a few days and was just wondering if anyone had any idea of what to expect at the border? There is this large yellow envelope that I am not supposed to open and I have made a list of all our personal effects. I just wonder how long it will take approx at the border. I also wonder becuase I have read that until you cross for the first time you are not actually a LPR yet and it is ultimately up to the border people for final approval.

Guess Im just looking for someone who has been through it to hear some stories of your experince or anyone who knows someone or anything about it to give me an idea of what to expect

You will be sent to secondary inspection and it should not take more than 20 minutes, provided secondary is not busy.
