What is the RFE for?
If you are going through your lawyer, what is he/she asking you to submit?

is it true they dont accept video?seems really dumb...video is much better than pictures dont you think...?

buddy it seems like the items u send is not enough,u have less than 6 stuff to show and u,ve been married for more than 2 years.....of course uscis will ask for rfe.

Can you elaborate on what you are trying to say here?

yes, jnj, respond to this question please...

I only sent
- Joint tax returns
- Bank statement for 1 month
- Recently purchased vehicle bill under both names
- although we had a baby past July 2008, I didnt send the birth certificate so I thought I was going to get an RFE for this because the I-751 form did mention my daughter of course. Didn't get RFE though.

banano1842,

you seem to be lucky. My timelines are almost the same as yours, however, I have still not received my GC. I filled my I-751 on dec22, 2008. got the fingerprinting and all in jan, 09. In May, USCIS asked for additional documentation (it took the lawyer's assitant working on my case 3 weeks before I finally got hold of the letter). I sent in all the documents almost 2 weeks ago, and now waiting for a response.

I included the following:

1) Affidavits of support from family and friends
2) Copies of bank statements for the last 6 months
3) Colored Xerox copies of credit cards and debit cards (showing two cards in both our names, with same account numbers)
4) tax returns for 2008 with copies of both our W-2s
5) mortgage statements
6) property taxes paid this year (showing both our names)
7) title of the house (showing both our names)
8) auto title (showing both our names)
9) auto insurance (showing both our names)
10) medical insurance (including copy of the insurance card mentioning both our names)
11) benefits package from my employer indicating my wife being the beneficiary
12) approval letters from various mortgage lenders indicating (husband and wife) loan approvals
13) Copy of the stimulus check sent by the previous government indicating both our names
14) Photographs of our trips together, showing major landmarks behind us
15) Boarding passes from those trips
16) copies of the itineraries.

I also highlited (in florescent color) every page that had both of our names together, so as not to leave a doubt to any person going through an inch thick stack of papers.

Hopefully USCIS believes that this is enough documentation and wont ask us to come in for an interview.
