June'2004 visa revalidation tracker

That is indeed gr8 news tejaana......let us all know once u receive ur passport......BTW, which no. did u use for tracking?.....the FedEx tracking No. or the Fed-Ex A/C #/Credit Card # that they have mentioned in the Payment section of the receipt????

Nope, I have not yet heard from the DOS yet.
I checked the Fedex Tracking just now, so as of 13th evening, it wasnt picked up.

Keeping my fingers crossed and praying hard.

Any thing different that you did helped you? Did u appy the bar code version 156 form? Did u use MO or USPS check?


It was nothing different. Just routine. Sent bar coded DS156 and MO bought in USPS.

I was really amazing to receive in just three weeks.
 
Rahul and others who received stamp

How is the picture on ur visa. is it clear enough. I did it in May and I got mine in 4 weeks but the picture is not clear at all and very very dim and dark. Is it something to worry abt , should I re-send it again get a clearer picture?

I am planning to make india trip soon.

The photo is quite dark, but I dont think I am going to bother. I think they might anyway have the photo on the computer at the POE?

Congratulations !!! You are a lucky boy.. to get your passport back in little less than 4 weeks.... Did you do anything special to achieve this feat??

Like taking the Money order from a specific bank.. or using certain courier company?

Manual form?

Did anyone of u send 'manual' D-156? I used that. probably thats the delay for me. I just wondering anyone out there ...

I think its taking longer for H1+H4 cases. I had sent my H1 and my wife's H4 for stamping. It was recieved at SL on June 12th. I am still waiting for PPs. Anybody with similar experience? :confused:

I dont find any problem with the 'manual' D-156. But was wondering about the dates in various cases (a vain attempt to find a reason) ...

BTW, my package is on the way. I may get it tomorrow. update soon ..

I used the barcoded form. I have sent it on 06/09 and was received in SL on 06/10. Mine is just H1 and no issues with my case at all.. Always permanently employed. I have been with the same employer for the past two years. I guess I just have to wait. I have tried to track my fedex tracking number for the return packet, but it has not been picked yet.
I am not in hurry anyway... but always better to have it on hand you know..

I used the online barcoded form, but that did not help.
I guess I just have to be more patient.

Could that assumption be valid ????....I think out of the 4-5 persons who have already received their passports by now, 1/2 were H1+H4 cases(vsaxena for Eg)......plz ppl , confirm this........neways, even I have sent both mine and spouse's pspts......let's wait and watch......acc to me it'll take longer if u have used the manual DS-156 (coz they have mentioned so in the site clearly)
