Why is June so quiet?

We just got our interview notice. Thought this was a bit odd, as we have had no action on our I-131 or I-765 applications, while others have gotten their EAD after filing well after us. But the early interview is good news.

USC filing for spouse
6/20/09: I-130, 485, 765, 131, 864 filed
6/23/09: Package received at Chicago lockbox (RD)
6/26/09: ND
6/29/09: checks cashed
6/29/09: NOA received (MSC-*)
7/1/09: Receipts online
7/1/09: FP notice date
7/6/09: FP appointment received
7/7/09: FP done early (walk-in, Manhattan ASC)
7/29/09: FP scheduled date
8/6/09: Interview notice date
8/11/09: Interview NOA received
8/11/09: AP mailed (email notice)
8/11/09: EAD card ordered (email notice)
9/8/09: Interview--GC granted and production ordered (Albany FO)

WOW!!!! I can't believe you got ur letter already!! I am very envious! I am a July filer but not far behind you when I filed. Can I ask, what Country is the filer from and what status.. Visitor, student fiance etc?

F-1 student visa from Singapore.

EDIT:
Just got an email, looks like AP and EAD are on the way. Have to say I am quite pleased with the speed of this process in comparison to my expectations, so far. If your paperwork is in order I expect you will receive the same notices soon.

Seems like we are having almost same timeline. We are in New Jersey. Please let me know when you receive the EAD and also about how your interview went, especially because it is one week before than mine :) .

I would like to know if they have delivered my EAD or is there any other email from CRIS for "Approval notice sent" for EAD then they mail it ?

Help - RFE I-485 questions

I received this today. I submitted BC from Chicago consulate and it looks like it has not worked out. I will set the process of getting NABC from my mother's birth place in India but what I am concerned about is the last Notes para. Can someone interpret that for me? I understand that as - affidavits from relatives certifying the birth is not valid. Is this the standard language that people have seen in RFE?

Please also recommend your inputs. I have a month within which to respond to RFE.

This office is unable to complete the processing of your application to Register for Permanent Residence or Adjust Status (Form I-485) without additional information. Because you sent USCIS an affidavit of birth instead of a birth certificate, further evidence is needed.

Birth Certificate
The birth certificate must have been timely registered, show the date and place of birth, etc.

Certificate of Unavailability

Along with a certificate of non-existence for your birth-certificate, please submit secondary evidence. This evidence may include church, hospital and/or school documents. Affidavits are not considered secondary evidence.

Note: All secondary evidence must be contemporaneous with the event(s) in question. Therefore, the evidence that originated back when the child was young will be deemed more persuasive than evidence that was created as the result of this Request for Evidence
 
Update

We are very happy because our Post-Lady came today and brought us our official EAD cards which we did not think we were going to get for another month, hopefully the letter for GC interview will be next and I sure hope everything goes as well as its been going so far.:)

Now the Lawyer has to fight the case because they say the clause referred to in the 245i act does not pertain to us because the paperwork was filed since 1998......so we just have to wait and see what happens next :confused:
