June 2004 - concurrent filing

I did not start working on AC21. I was given a counter offer from another department in my compnay. I might accept that offer for which I wouldn't have to use AC21. The only reason I wanted to move out is because of my boss and the kind of work he gets for us. He sucks:).
I may accept the internal offer and go for inter-departmental transfer.

meanwhile my attorney will initiate an enquiery with USCIS about my I-485 status this week.

I personally believe you may not get more information on your I-140 is you call USCIS. USCIS reveals I-140 information only to your compnay ppl or to your attorney who filed your I-140 on your company's behalf. Mind you, unlike I-485 application I-140 is your compnay's application.

Greeny, thanks, I am not going to call them, My employer would call them again if I asked them to, just wondering whether calling in a second time is a good idea.
 
Hey! Thats neat..glad to hear you got a new project in the same company...will keep things simpler for the USCIS folks...I say..good call!

No..not received my cards yet. It takes around 2-3 weeks from the date of stamping is what I heard...lets see what happens. Not too concerned to be honest..the stamp is good for work and travel..what else is needed ;)

485 Lud

Hi All:

I just now noticed a LUD of 4/15/05 for our 485 applications. But the message has not changed. It still says "the results of your fingerprint review.... were received, and processing has resumed on your case". Has anyone seen similar LUD without any phone inquiry etc...? Does it mean anything?

I am in the same boat. Still waiting.
As far as I know, you are not allowed to do another inquiry within 6 months once you get the answer of "case under detailed review or system checks."

I have noticed that the CSC report shows applications with receipt date of Nov 10, 2004 as currently being processed. Mine is 9/22/2004. Wonder whats going on?

My dates are as below :
CSC/EB2 regular/ Priority date mar 2003.
140 receipt date 8/26/2004 approved 3/16/2005
1st EAD/AP receipt date 9/22/2004 approved 10/08/2004
I485 - receipt date 9/22/2004 finger printing 10/19/2004 approval ??????

How come you are seeing November 10th, 2004 as the I-485 processing date for CSC ?
I see November 02, 2004.
I too, am waiting for my I-485 approval. My ND is 11/04/2004.

You are right - Nov 02 for 485 processing - I looked at the Nov 10 from I140 processing.

I need to apply for EAD/AP extension as they expire in August and my lawyer says I can apply Online. Has anyone applied online ? Any suggestions and how many days it takes for the approval? Any things I need to take care of. Thanks for all your help.

I would like to know how thats done. My lawyer just filed the EAD/AP extensions for me. I am not sure if it was filed online, but please let me know if you know.

I did not even get my 140 approved. My lawyer called and they said its waiting for namecheck. I then wrote to Mr Hardy (FBI) and they replied with "No Record". Does anyone know if the namecheck is done with any other agency as well e.g CIA?
Its so frustrating.
 
I spoke with my lawyer about the same thing. She told me that sometimes (very few cases) the USCIS may decide to check your names against other databases. One example she gave me was the Interpol !!!

Hopefully you don't share your name with any of the 'most wanted' :)
