Mine and my wife case approved today 3/21/02.
PD 5/24/2000
RD 6/15/01
ND 8/3/01
FP 11/20/01
AD 3/21/02
I=140 approved for CP
Changed job after 180 days.
Informed INS about job change.
Changed address on 3/18/2002..

Jainsan, Congrats. As yours is a CP case, can you please post the following info:

Approx date when I-140 was approved:
Country:
Did you ever talk to NVC?
Did you ever ask the consulate to send the papers back to INS?
Did you or your attorney ever talk to IIO about the delay due to CP?

Never Called NVC

Country :- India
Never Called NVC
Never called IIO for 485 except this address change on 3/18/2002
I-140 was approved on around 10th May 2001.
My attorney also never called.
When I called IIO to change address then they told me that my case is in final Review and I should hear something in one month.

Jainsan, Thanks for your info. From your postings, it is very clear that even if I-140 is approved for CP, there is no delay in the I485.

Since yours is Job change.. could you.

Please post when did you inform INS about your Job change? Most of us not clear about 180 days Job change starts from RD or ND....
