I got mine and spouse's passports today with Visa stamped.

St.Louis RD: July 25
DC RD: Aug 26
PP Approved: Nov 3

DC Date: Aug 28
PP picked up by FedEx: Nov 4

Guess I am the only one still waiting!!

Last I heard, my visa got stamped/approved on Oct. 29. But nothing on my mail so far.

I called DC today, they said my pp was approved yesterday November 5


sent july 30th, that's 98 days and counting....

Please help! Urgent problem for DS156 error

Hi,

My SL date was 8/13/03 and no other information until now.
But today, I reviewed my copy of DS156 and found I had made
some errors in it. Basically, I misunderstood the box2-5, which
ask for passport issurance city/country/issurance date/exipration
date. But I filled in with my last H-1b visa issurance
city/country/issurance city/expiration date.

What should I do?? Should I send a new form and explain the reason
to washington DC immediately?

Or just wait to see my luck, whether they will refuse it and do accordingly.

Did anybody in this thread applied for H1 and H4 revalidation with the original I-797 of H4??? and got it stamped for both for H1 and H4
I have my I-797 for just me .. I did't applied for my wife H4 extension Becasue she is not here right now .. But she will be landing any time .. My old visa is going to expire on jan04. My wife will be coming on dec1 st week..
1)Can i apply with out her I-797 for her revalidation??
2) or i should and must have her I-797 also for her revalidation

If possible get revalidation in India it self. You do not need to apply for H4 in that case. If you apply here first you will wait and Pay for H4 approval and again wait and pay for revalidation.
 
Thats true .. but as in chennai consulate there is more difficulty in getting h4 ..So i am asking her to come here ..
AS one of the senior members here specified ..If she show my New H1 approval at the POE she will get the I-94 according to the my new H1 -i-797 so she will also get i -94 according to the my new h1 and that will be till 2005.
so i can automaticaly send her passport to revalidation as her status is already extended ..
This is the view ..
Incase at POE the officer give her I-94 according to the old visa ..We can t do anyhing ,,, Appliing for I-539 that means extension of her stay and after approving that apply for revalidation ..

Two of my friends did it recently they did not have any problems. What kind problems you are anticipating? If your LCA salary the current salary is matching that’s all. My friend did not send W2 also he sent two recent pay slips. It came through without any problem. Yes these cases I am mentioning are from Chennai consulate only. They did drop box.
