July-revalidation applicants tracking

H4 extension applied late

I applied my H1 extension in time but due some cofusion with H4 extension , we applied after 2 months of I94 Expiry.

I got my H1 extension in june and we send both passports for stamping to St louis.

Just got the H4 extension approved yesturday.


INS don't look for H4 extension paper for stamping , if you are sendingwith H1 approved papers...but they don't issue I94 for H4
 
Ur help - Mail Delay - USPS not delivered

Hello Guys,

I face a different type of problem. My SL date: 19th July, DC date: 5th August and Visa Approved on 16th of October. I have confirmed it couple of times with DC.

I have sent self-addressed USPS flat rate Express Mail Envelope. In DC they have informed me that my passport along with other documents reached the mailing room on 16th. As of today I have not received my passport.

Unfortunately I forgot to take the customer copy so, I don’t have tracking number. Are there any one has any experience with USPS. Please let me know how to proceed in this matter.

Relax...

I have seen people getting their passports after 3-4 days after getting approved and as far as Rep telling you your passport reached mailing room on 16th, they never know the complete thing.

So, if you don't get your passport say by tommorrow, go to the local post office (If possible to the same post office where you mailed your application). May be they will be able to pull up your transaction through the credit card number, also check with them if they can get information about the packet based on your name and address.

I called visa office this morning ,the lady is nice enough to told me they are processing Aug22 dc dates as of yesterday.

Just called up the DC office. The lady told me that my visa was approved on Oct 25th and has been sent for printing. Should be receiving my passport by the end of the week. My SL date was July 21st.
 
Guys,

Myself and my wife's VISA were approved today. We were told so by that lady in DC. Waiting for the passports.

I called this morning and the lady I spoke to was very patient and courteous. She said that they were currently processing passports received in DC on Aug 24.
 
Got it!

Just got my passport today.....and O have updated the dates below.............

Called DC office today. My visa is approved and gone for printing. It seems then it would go for "Quality Assurance" and I would get it in 2 weeks time.

My return mail envelope is USPS; No tracking.

Any one in similar situation?
 
Finally long wait period is over , I got my passport delivered today by fedex priority
overnight .

Here is my details.

Passport Sent date : 23-JUL-2003
S.L date : 24-JUL-2003
Visa issue date : 27-OCT-2003

A total of 97 days waiting period.
