Just called visa office today and I was told that they are working towards the end of D.C. July dates. Mine is 25th July and is not done yet.
 
Good News

I got my passport today and everything looks o.k.
Stamped on Oct'02-03 , PP recd Oct'06-03
Two Passport my self and my wife
Send two checks for $200.00 and $150.00 separately
In the fedex return enveleope I wrote the St.louis from address.
Thankyou verymuch all the help. It was very useful.
Called DC only once on Oct'02-03

Hi Guys,
I am on August thread. We calcing our dates based on yours. Please update your DC dates etc. I would like to know what happened to the guys who sent their applications on July 3rd. Their DC date is July 25. The gap is 22 days. I think, raj_oc has sent his application on July 9, but he has got his passports prior to the guys who sent on Jul 3. If there is any reason, please let us know.
Hi raj_oc, do you have employer change? What type of payment you attached? Is it money order or cashier check? Your information on this will help others.

I called DC office today and I was told that they are processing july 25th and around that date. Mine is july 25th and I didn't get it yet (also nothing in FedEX tracking). Any of you guys from 3rd see any activity.

Finally I got my passport yesterday. Thanks a lot for your support guys. Even though we are just tracking our dates, just discussing this topic brings some peace of mind.

I did sent money orders with my application.
I did change employers.

SL to DC time

Hi Guys,
I've noticed one thing. The SL to DC period is less than 15 days for the applicants whomever made the payment through money order. For all other type of payments, it is taking long time it seems. I think, this would be the case for the people who sent applications on July 3.
Hello July 3rd friends, could you please give information about your payment method? It will be helpful to understand what exactly happens.

Did anyone from 25th July see any activity? Looks like 25th July is stalled. I have to reach India on 10th Oct. and my only hope is today. If I get it done today and get PP by tomorrow, I will fly tomorro w otherwise I am stuck here.
 
Excellent observation, joe_parth, you might have hit the nail on the head. I sent in a money order and it got to DC within 2 weeks. Though I do believe other factors might come in .. the applications may be distributed among workers ... some might be done with theirs sooner and some not ...(just a surmise).

Singh_Harp, did you try calling up DC today? ... your PP might be approved/ printed too, in which case, you might just about get it by (or on) the 10th. Do keep checking your fedex too. I'm one of the '25th july' persons too, I'm still waiting (I haven't called up DC of late).
