July-revalidation applicants tracking

Hi

My SL date is 11th July, when I called the visa office for my DC date, the lady said she does not have that information. I would like to know how do you all have the DC date.
I have to travel towards the end of this month, I am planning on withdrawing my application. Please help with any information.

Hi Rg1394,

Some visa officers may not disclose DC date. Better, you call tomorrow morning around 8:15am and tell them that you sent the application on July 11 and ask for DC date. My guess is, you should get yours with in next week.

well DC office would have information based on your name and passport number. I think they don't have any information based on the SL receive date.

Could you please update your payment methods. It looks like, all you sent your applications on the same date, but have different DC dates. We would like to know what causes this. Please update the information about payment mehtod, family, employer change etc..

I'm not sure how you asked for the 'DC date' (they have no clue about this particular phrase). Give them your pp no (and last name) and ask them if your pp has reached DC and when it reached DC. The date it reached DC and gets entered into the system is the so called 'DC Date'.

I just called the lady at DC office and she said it takes 12 to 14 weeks after it reaches DC office!

My DC date is Aug 27th and I have booked my ticket to India on Nov 26th.

Does any one know how long it takes for me to get the passport back once I decide to withdraw my application?

Just spoke with visa office and they told me that today in a meeting they decided not to provide any information on visa processing. Looks like too many calls pissed them off.
 
Status

I just called up the visa office...0 waiting time....the lady said they cannot give status on my case that I will get it by the end of this month as per my sent date:(
 
That's just their 'programmed' talk ... it's obvious they wont give info, which is good since they didn't used to give correct info anyway. I would still suggest people to keep calling up and 'politely demand' some sort of status .. even one posted on a web site will do.

no it is of no use anymore. Same thing happen to me. 0 wait time and I was told that it was decided today in the meeting that they won't be providing status anymore.

Sent money through Bank draft/Cashier's check

Yet to receive PP

Just crossed the 12 weeks mark.
Haven't yet called up for updates.

Have been following this thread since a long time. It has been a big help. Just wanted to update my details :

SL date : Jul 10
DC date : Donot know(never called DC office)
PP : Just dispatched from Washington DC (Oct 8). Found out using my Fedex tracking number. Should be getting it by tomorrow.

PASSPORT WILL BE RECEIVED OCTOBER 9, 2003 THURSDAY B4 10.30 AM

I AM FROM SEPECIAL REGISTRATION COUNTRY , I AM MARRIED , I DID CHANGE MY EMPLOYER , I USED FED-EX , I SENT U S POSTAL MONEY ORDER , I SENT A VERY CLEAR EMPLOYER LETTER THATS ALL.


I Strongly belive u can save a lot of time if you send U S POSTAL MONEY ORDER. IF ANY BODY WHOSE SL DATE IS BEFORE JULY 10TH AND HE HAS NOT RECEIVED HIS PASSPORT THEN HE MUST HAVE SENT CASHIER CHECK OR CERTIFIED CHECK OR WESTERN UNION MONEY ORDER . GUYS PLS ALWAYS SEND U S POSTAL MONEY ORDER

I Just have received MY Passport back along with origional employer letter and notorized copies of i-797

The new visa looks a little bit funny


SO EXCATLY AFTER 90 DAYS I SENT MY PASSPORT ON 9TH JULY

SL DATE 10TH JULY

DC DATE 28TH JULY

VISA APPROVED AS MENTIONED ON THE VISA 07TH OCTOBER

BOTH PASSPORTS RECEIVED 9TH OCTOBER AT 9.30 AM

AT THIS POINT OF TIME I WOULD LIKE TO THANKS ALL OF YOU

THIS THREAD WAS VERY HELPFUL TO ME . AND GOOD LUCK TO ALL OF YOU WHO ARE WAITING ........................

people, looks like something is spookey about the applications received on 25th July DC date. People from 28th are getting approvals. Do we have anyone here who has got a approval with 25th july DC date
