July-revalidation applicants tracking

Guys,

My passport along with my wife's was received on 29th July at SL. I called the DC office and the lady said it reached DC on Aug 8th. It seems to have taken 10 days. But how come most of the PP's ar etaking around 4 weeks to reach DC from SL and mine just took 10 days ??. I'm supposed to leave on 14th Nov. I hope I wil get it by then.

I just called the DC Office again and she is saying that they received on Aug 25th, what the heck ???.
HAve you guys seen these before ??

I called the DC office.As expected the regular answer , will get the passports after 12 weeks from DC date ?????????.
But they are processing july now

I just called the DC office again. Apparently all passports that were sent towards the end of July (after July 20) are taking 4 weeks to reach DC.

She said it would take three months from the DC received date to get my passport back.

SL Received date: July 25
DC Received date: Aug 26

I can expect to get my passport back only at the end of November.
 
After DC Date -reg

I do not think that it will take three months after DC_date. After DC_date, it should be 10 to 12 weeks. This has been given in DOS website itself. They may tell some approximate date, but it may not be true. As per my calculation, you should get your passport before Nov 15,2003.

No I did not check my tracking no, since the lady in the DC office told me that they have not started processing passports received on Jul 24th. I will check it sometime next week or the week after that.

To the rest of the gang:
The lady who answered my call in DC was really nice. She did not give me the 'standard answer' as most of you mentioned. She asked for my full name and date of birth and took sometime to verify stuff. She told me that they have received mine on July 24th but they haven't processed it yet. I asked her when they will be processing mine to which she replied that they are currently processing applications received on Jult 21st and 22nd. So mine will be processed later this week or sometime next week. She even told me that I can expect my passport latest by sometime in the 3rd week on October.
I guess I was lucky that I got to talk to her....

good news

I called the DC office and the lady said My visa and my wife's visa was approved today and she also said that I should be getting the passport by next week.
I waited on the phone only for 20min.
