July-revalidation applicants tracking

Hi,

Here are my details:-

SL received date : July 25, 2003
DC received date: Aug 26, 2003

Its taking a month to go from SL to DC.
I spoke to visa officer at DC today, I had to wait 90mins before someone spoke to me. She said it would take 12 weeks from Aug 26 to get my passport back.

I just now spoke to the lady at DC office. She asked for passport number and told me the following

DC RD : Aug 25 2003
It will take 12-14 weeks from Aug 25.
My RD at St Louis should be July 22 that when the courier was delivered.

Oh soo sad since I wanted to visit for Diwali.
 
DC Received Date!!!

I just called DC for the first time, and found the following details.

DC Received Date: July 31 2003.

My SL Received Date: July 16 2003


The lady told that it will take around 12 weeks from July 31st for my case to be processed and to expect the pp around 1st week of Nov 03.

THE LADY TOLD ME I WILL GET MY PASSPORT EITHER 12 WEEKS FROM S L DATE OR 10 WEEKS FROM DC DATE


MAY BE IN THE SECOUND WEEK OF OCTOBER


I AM FRM PAKISTAN AND I WENT FOR SEPECIAL REGISTERATION ALSO. I HAVE ALSO CHANGED MY JOB


BUT THE PLUS POINT IS I AM MARRIED AND I HAVE KIDS

also i want to know what they do with the case at SL AND AT THE DC . WHEN THEY SEND THE PASSPORT AT DC DOES IT MEANS THAT VISA HAS BEEN APPROVED .????????????????????????????????????????????
 
Did anybody get the Passport...?

I called DC Office yesterday morning 7:30 am (PST) , I had to wait only 10 minutes , the lady who took my call told that they have received my Passport on July 25 and it will take 3 months from DC Received date to get my visa stamped .

SL Date July 14th
DC Date July 25th

Has anybody in this Thread received their Passport back ...?

Visa Revalidation

I sent my passports along with that of my family for Visa Revalidataion.

SL: 07/03/03
DC: 07/25/03

When I verified from DC, they could not locate my PP but they could find my family's. I did not have my PP # to verify when I called. If there are any discrepencies, what do they do? Like I did not submit form DS-157 as I have just completed 45 years at the time of approval/renewal of H1B. What is the creteria for the age? If I have completed 45 years of age, I need not submit the form DS-157, is that correct?
Can anyone explain?
 
Just called the DC office. The person answering the phone told me that I could expect tp receive my documents back in the first week week of November.

I do believe it's the DC date which counts at this stage, so try to put down your DC date if you have it.

I talked with the lady in DC (202 663 1225 1,0 ). According to her they are currently processing the passports received on 21st and 22nd of July. Those of you who applied towards the end of June and the 1st week of July can expect their passport in the next 2 weeks.
