Got FP notice. EAD approved.

FP notice received 11/28. Schedule date: 12/29, Oakland.
EAD approved 11/27.

Can I go early to another INS center say San Jose

One of my friends just received FP notice (another ray of hope)

I don\'t know his RD/ND, but his receipt # is WAC-01-264-***
Location: Oakland
Scheduled date: 12/18.
 
Oakland gives you a hard time about early FP ....

Go to San Jose instead. Other people have posted their experience in the recent past about difficulties in doing early FP at Oakland. Plus Oakland seems to do some FP\'s manually. That would delay processing of your prints by 2 or 3 weeks. So, I suggest you go to San Jose.

I heard my EAD approval last week but still not received the EAD
Card . How long does it take normally ?

I was just looking at the latest summary.

Appears that most of the EAD approvals so far has come for people with EB3s.

Anybody agrees ?

Thanks Dee. I almost went to San Jose today, but I just happened to talk to my lawyer who said that

I don\'t trust lawyers though, so I am going to go to San Jose tomorrow. Thanks.
