Not sure if the USCIS and FBI even care about these lawsuits anymore... there have been so many... they simply say we cannot compromise with the security of the nation (by keeping the terrorists in the country for long time with namecheck backlog I guess).
Seems like after every fluries of lawsuits, either someone resigns or they come up with a memorandum to keep us quiet for sometime.
I don't think they care. There have been so many yes but not enough to hit the news you know what I mean. Yes you see articles here and there but I am a news nut and watch/listen to news pretty much 24/7 and never heard anything about it. Not even really from the presidential candidates.
When so many lawsuits are filed against a company or a person that person or company cracks down but it is not that the USCIS or FBI will poof go away. So no they don't care.
What we know is a "few" people from this board that are seriously stuck but who knows how many more are out there and I am surprised how many don't know their option until they come to a board like this one or similar ones because they have exhausted their options.
It's sad that it has to come to class action lawsuits in individual districts to get the government to perform the duties mandated by the laws of the land.
