Joining New Company

Hi,

Present Visa status is H1. I-140 is approved 6 months back. EAD is received. IF I join another company now, Can I do that? If yes, please guide accordingly. Does that affect H1 status ?

---- If you use EAD you will NOT be on H1 status and will need AP approved in US if want to go out of US and must be back before AP expires.
** Better join by H1 transfer and if 6 years are completing you are also eligible for 7th year H1 extension as you have pending I-485.

EAD is expected anytime. If EAD is received, then will it affect the h1 status in anyway?

---- NO but if you use EAD you will NOT be on H1 status, better be on H1 status till your I-140 gets approved

H1 expired on 12/01/2003
EAD approved 07/24/2003
AP approved 07/22/2003
140 approved 11/05/2003

Now I am out of project, can change my employer at this stage ?

Please advice me..
