job title change and h1

Hi,

Our company merged with another one and my job title changed but I am doing exactly the same job as before. Does this violate my H1 status? Is it ok for me to apply for H1 extension?

Thanks a lot for help.
 
The job title change should reflect in LCA and I129. An amendment to the existing LCA/H1 or apply with a new LCA.
